Song planning and scheduling
Concert Setup Schedule:
Wednesday, August 26 3pm
Preliminary Setup
Trucks with stage parts, power, canopy
Stage is in 4 panels, each 4x8.
Set location, stabilize stage and test
Setup canopy for lights positioning
Decide on locations for power feeds
Thursday, August 29 1pm - 7pm (Just the times were we arrange a good time for you and your sound check and those performing with you)
Equipment Setup and Tests
Setup speakers, lighting, projector screen, projector, equipment positions, computers, cameras, mics, lines
Test power needs to prevent breaker issues
Test lighting, projector and screen
Set tripod and camera positions
Tape stage for musician positions
Test all lines, speakers, address grounding issues
Gaffers tape lines as needed
Tune speakers for venue, test all songs
Test all instruments on hand
Test a few songs with track, instrument, mic, lighting, music video, video recording.
Test lighting at 7 or 8pm.
We will test lighting, video screen to get a feel for the time of the concert.
Test white lighting for post-concert teardown
Friday: Sound Checks - Please Attend. 1pm - 8pm

After 1pm when the sound, light, camera and recording equipment has been set up, sound checks will be done.
We will roughly follow the songlist in the order songs will be performed
Feel free to perform your songs at this time, practice together while we dial in the sound and automation
We will pause between songs to make sound adjustments. We may restart a song a few times to further test
Monitors will also be tuned during this period so each performer can have their monitor set correctly
We will pick one or two songs to 'perform' as if live in order to test the sound, sound perceptions from audience positions, lighting
Pre-Concert 2pm-4pm
Final sound checks.
Please be there by 2-3pm or before in the event we need to adjust anything.
Verify all setups, power, batteries charged, final sound check for all instruments
If you would like to do your song once more, this would be a good time
Concert 6pm - 8:30pm
It would be helpful if you could be aware of the time(s) you will be performing so as to be on the platform as the song before yours end.
For the most part, we will begin the next song right after the one before it. Some songs have explanations.
I will give a copy of the final setlist a week or two before the event.
